Welcome to the official site of The Eastmoor Invitational
The Board of Governors of the Eastmoor National Golf Club respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the 2024 Eastmoor Invitational. 2024 will be the 3rd annual outing. In 2022, 16 men faced perfect early fall weather, a packed ride on the Bexley Beat, and multiple beverages in between. With a 2-man format that tested their golf skills, liver, and mental fortitude, Andrew Brinkmeyer and Dr. Jon McFadden came out victorious and hoisted the coveted, laser print rocks glasses. In 2023, Nick Boyden and Mike Gruelich battled 22 others through marshmallow terrain and distracting Super Mario Power Ups to dethrone Andrew Brinkmeyer in a card-off victory.
The 2024 Eastmoor Invitational is capped at 36 golfers and will have a 2-man scramble format. 36 Golfers have been invited and alternates have been identified, so please do not pass this invitation around.
In Early August, you will be assigned a random teammate. Your team will be assigned a handicap based on your skill levels. Teams are encouraged to be more creative than LIV golf and select fun team names and even more unique uniforms. There will be strokes awarded for the top three uniforms.
The cost of the day will be $110. This will include breakfast, alcohol, transportation (Bexley Beat), greens fees, and prizes. There has also been $10 added for pizza at the post round family party in Eastmoor. Please Venmo Dave Salisbury by August 1st.

Format:
- 2-man Scramble - Each player will hit his tee ball to begin each hole. The team will choose the best shot and play from that spot.
- White tee boxes and maximum score of 6 on all holes.
- All shots from rough and fairway must be a club length from the original spot. Shots in the rough or hazard cannot be moved to an improved lie.
- Pick, clean, and replace allowed. Fluffed lies in rough and fairway are permitted.
- All putts must be marked and holed (no gimmies) unless the maximum score has been exceeded.
- Low Handicap Player must putt first on first putts.
- Tee shot cannot be used by same player 3 holes in a row. One tee shot must be used by each team member every three holes. 1-3, 4-6, 7-9. 10-13, 13-15, 16-18
- All teams must fill out the score card provided in order to be eligible for the champion's trophies.
“ShotGun” Start:
- Each player will have the opportunity to shotgun a breakfast beer. This will result in a stroke being removed from your overall score.
Mulligans:
- Each player will receive one lower proof mini bottle of liquor. In order to get a shot, you must take a shot (these are transferable to partners or opponents). These can be used on any stroke.
- Each player will receive one “mystery” mini bottle of liquor. Consuming your “mystery” bottle will allow you and your partner to play from your opponent's drive (These are transferable to your partners or opponents). Using this will eliminate the requirement of using your teammates shot.
Money Ball:
- All teams will be given a special ball to be rotated between all shots. This must be used on every hole. Any team that has their money ball at the end of the round will have 2 strokes removed. Any team losing it will have 2 strokes added.
Uniform Points:
- Teams will have their picture taken and voted on by a group of wives. 1st place removes 3 strokes, 2nd place removes 2 strokes, and 3rd place removes 1 stroke. Must be West Chester appropriate, this award is void if the course asks them to remove their uniform.
Tie Breaker:
- We will utilize a card-off system based on scores from the ranked handicapped holes.
Congratulations on your invitation to compete in the Eastmoor Neighborhood's premier golf tournament.
